With a front suspension and more efficient than the KQi3, the Niu KQi 300 electric scooters will have an excellent introductory price. They were recently the subject of a presentation.
If you like riding an electric scooter in town, but have opted for low or mid-range, comfort is probably one of the downsides of the experience. Fortunately, manufacturers are making efforts, including Niu, which is announcing its first suspended models, the KQi 300.
High-end services for Niu KQi 300 scooters
To occupy the range between the rigid KQi3 and the light carbon KQi Air, the Niu KQi 300 are very interesting high-end products. Why plural? Because the Chinese brand offers this electric scooter in two versions: KQi 300P and KQi 300X, the second being more powerful and durable.
Both are based on the same machine: they are in fact an evolution of the KQi3 with a suspended front fork, wheels that appear wider, indicators as well as a more designer rear mudguard and a small taillight. Another curious novelty of Niu KQi 300, the accelerator is no longer a trigger, but a rotating handle, like electric scooters . On the other hand, we find the large and wide deck and the large, very bright front headlight.
Concerning the motor, still at the rear, it develops 450 W on the 300P and 500 W on the 300X (900 and 1000 W peak, respectively). Great performances in perspective, to overcome slopes of 20% and 25% according to Niu. The batteries seem to be similar to those of the KQi3 Pro and Max, i.e. 487 Wh on the 300P and 608 Wh for the KQi300X. This would thus offer 48 and 60 km of autonomy per charge.
A great introductory price, very limited
More comfortable and efficient than the KQi3, the Niu KQi 300P and 300X will be more expensive. In any case in their “normal” price, since these electric scooters begin their career on January 31 by pre-order at -25%, or 799 and 899 euros . A very attractive price, which will be enough to worry a Ninebot Max G2 .
But this launch reduction only concerns the first 200 copies… for 48 hours. You will therefore have to count on a KQi300P at 1,059 euros and a KQi 300X at 1,199 euros. A Xiaomi 4 Ultra or a Navee S65 , with double suspension, would therefore have nothing to be ashamed of.
